Q: How far is the beach?
A: This house is 3 houses from The Gulf of Mexico.
Q: How do we get to the beach?
A: There is public beach access cross
Scenic Gulf Drive.
Q: Is the beach public or private?
A: The beach is
a mixture of public and private beach for gulf front home owners. Private
beaches are clearly marked. You may have vendors to purchase beach
set ups from, and/or you should set up on public beach only when you get to the
beach. All beaches are public for traversing within 20' of the water.
Q:
Can we rent beach set ups with this house?
A:
Yes, you can rent beach set ups close to the water
during season at the Hutchinson Street Public Beach Access by Sunset Beach Service that will dictate where you should set up
on the beach. This is not the nearest beach access, but is only 2 blocks
away. This public beach access offers a
covered gazebo with picnic tables, and public restrooms beach front which makes
life easy with little ones. Contact

Q: Are
sleeper sofas comfortable for adults?
A: No. We recommend them for small
children only!
Q: Can adults
sleep in bunk beds?
A: We recommend them for children!
The ladders and bedding are not designed to support the bulk of adults and may
result in an accident or injury.
Q: Does this house
have a pool?
A: Yes.
Q: Is the pool heated?
A: Pools will be heated for an additional fee
of $200/week or $35/day during March through December or $300/week or $50/day
during January and February. No refund of
pool heating fees will be refunded if the outdoor temperature and atmospheric
conditions prevent the pools from reaching desired water temperatures.
Please keep in mind that pools are not hot tubs and are much more difficult to
heat and may not maintain the level of heat that you desire. Pool covers
for maintaining heat are not provided.
Q: Do we have to share the pool with
other households?
A: No, this pool is a private pool for
La Cabana Beach House.
Q: How many TV's are there?
A: There is a 31" in both living rooms,
27" in the master bedroom, and 19" in all other bedrooms.
Q: How
many vehicles can we park?
A: (5) Five.
Q: What do we have to do to hold for the
week that we want?
A: A 25% deposit is paid by credit card
.
Q: Does Carter Beach Properties offer
travel insurance?
A: No. Our
contract covers our refund policy for hurricanes and most individuals find
that sufficient. However, we do offer an
easy link to
several premier travel insurance companies if you feel that it is your best
interest to have travel insurance.
Q: When is balance of rent and Sales Tax
due?
A: 30 days prior to check in.
Q: Where do we send a rent check, and
how do we make it out?

Q: How old do you have to be to rent
this property?
A:
25 years of age.
If a group of youths wish to rent, one parent per every 3
minors must be on site at all times, and a 50% deposit will be required.
The parents will be held responsible for the actions of the group.
