A:  This house is 7 houses back from The Gulf of Mexico.

Q:  How do we get to the beach?

A:  There is public beach access one block south and one block east, then cross Scenic Highway 98.

Q:  Is the beach public or private?

A:  The beach is a mixture of public and private beach for gulf front home owners.  Private beaches are clearly marked.  

Q:   Can we rent beach set ups with this house?

A:   Yes, you can rent beach set ups close to the water during season at the Hutchinson Street Public Beach Access by Sunset Beach Service that will dictate where you should set up on the beach.  This is not the nearest beach access, but is only 3 blocks away.  This public beach access offers a covered gazebo with picnic tables, and public restrooms beach front which makes life easy with little ones.  Contact Sunset Beach Service, Dave Meadows, Telephone:  (850) 244-0452 or Cellular (850) 259-2401, email:  simplemead@yahoo.com. 

Q:  Are sleeper sofas comfortable for adults?

A:  No.  We recommend them for small children only!

Q:  Can adults sleep in bunk beds?

A:  We recommend them for children!  The ladders and bedding are not designed to support the bulk of adults and may result in an accident or injury. 

Q:  Does this house have a pool?

A:  Yes, a  9' x 21' pool.

Q:  Is the pool heated?

A:  No, the pool is not heated.

Q:  Do we have to share the pool with other households?

A:  No, this pool is a private pool.

Q:  How many vehicles can we park?

A:  (6) Six.

Q:  What do we have to do to hold for the week that we want?

A:  A 25% deposit is paid by credit card.

Q:  Does Carter Beach Properties offer travel insurance?

A:  No.  Our contract covers our refund policy for hurricanes and most individuals find that sufficient.  However, we do offer an easy link to several premier travel insurance companies if you feel that it is your best interest to have travel insurance.  

Q:  When is balance of rent and Sales Tax due?

A:  30 days prior to check in.

Q:  Where do we send a rent check, and how do we make it out?

A:  Carter Beach Properties, 1594 Scenic Gulf Drive, Miramar Beach, FL  32550.

Q:  How old do you have to be to rent this property?

A:  25 years of age.   If a group of youths under the age of 25 wish to rent, one parent per every 3 youths must be on site at all times, and a 50% deposit will be required.  The parents will be held responsible for the actions of the group.
