Q: How far is the beach?
A: This house is 3 houses from The Gulf of Mexico.
Q: How do we get to the beach?
A: There is public beach access at each end of the Crystal Shores
subdivision. You walk to the end and cross Scenic Gulf Drive. The
western beach access have a public beach at the end of the walk down and is the
closest to this property.
Q: Is the beach public or private?
A: A: The beach is a mixture of public and private beach
for gulf front home owners. Private beaches are clearly marked. All beaches are public
for traversing within 20' of the water.
 Q: How
many beach set ups come with this house. Can we purchase and
how?
A: There are no beach set
ups provided. Set ups can be purchased from
Sunset Beach Service, Dave Meadows, Telephone: (850) 244-0452 or Cellular
(850) 259-2401, email:
simplemead@yahoo.com. They will be set up at the Hutchinson
Street Public Beach Access which is where you would normally go to be beach from
this home. This public beach access offers a gazebo and public restrooms
beach front which makes life easy with little ones.
Q: Are sleeper sofas comfortable for adults?
A: No. We recommend them for small children
only!
Q: Can adults
sleep in bunk beds?
A: We recommend them for children!
The ladders and bedding are not designed to support the bulk of adults and may
result in an accident or injury.
Q: Does this house have a pool?
A: Yes, a private and community pool.
Q: Is the pool heated?
A: Pools will be heated
for an additional fee of $200/week or $35/day
during March through December or $300/week or $50/day during January and
February. No refund of pool heating fees will be
refunded if the outdoor temperature and atmospheric conditions prevent the pools
from reaching desired water temperatures. Please keep in mind that pools
are not hot tubs and are much more difficult to heat and may not maintain the
level of heat that you desire. Pool covers for maintaining heat are not
provided.
Q: Do we have to share the pool with other households?
A: No.
Q: How many vehicles can we park?
A: (5) Five. No parking for RV's, boats, jet
ski, etc. Not allowed in subdivision.
Q: How many TV's are there?
A: There is a 27" in two living room rooms, 27" in the master bedroom,
and 19" in bunk room.
Q: What do we have to do to hold for the week that we
want?
A: A 25% deposit via credit card.
Q: Do you offer travel insurance?
A: No. Our
contract covers our refund policy for hurricanes and most individuals find
that sufficient. However, we do offer an
easy link to
several premier travel insurance companies if you feel that it is your best
interest to have travel insurance.
Q: When is balance of rent and Sales Tax due?
A: 30 days prior to check in.
Q: Where do we send a rent check, and how do we make it out?
A: Carter Beach Properties, 1594 Scenic Gulf Drive,
Miramar Beach, FL 32550.
Q: How old do you have to be to rent this property?
A:
25 years of age. If a group of youths wish to
rent, one parent per every 3 youths must be on site at all
times, and a 50% deposit will be required. The parents will be held responsible for the actions of the
group.
