Q: How far is the beach?
A: This house is located across our
pedestrian friendly beach road from The Gulf of Mexico. There is an
unobstructed 180 degree view and no one can build in front of this lovely home as the beach
is owned by the subdivision of Avalon.
Q: How do we get to the beach?
A: There is beach walkway provided
by Walton County for Avalon to
access their private beach you share with the homes of
Avalon Subdivision only.
Q: Is the beach public or private?
A: The beach is a mixture of public and private beach.
All beaches have a minimum of 20' public for others to traverse the beach. However, there is no public beach access within close proximity to the Avalon
beach.

Can we purchase beach set ups
and how?
A: Beach set ups can be purchased from
Holiday Isle Beach Service, Steve Hill, Telephone: (850) 650-7999.
Q: Does this house have a pool?
A: Yes. Plus, there is a community pool.
Q: Is the pool heated?
A: Pools will be heated
for an additional fee
of $200/week or $35/day during March through
December or $300/week or $50/day during January and February. No refund of pool heating fees will
be refunded if the outdoor temperature and
atmospheric conditions prevent the pools from reaching desired water
temperatures.
Please keep in mind that pools are not hot tubs and are much more
difficult to heat and may not maintain the level of heat that you desire.
Pool covers for maintaining
heat are not provided.
Q: Do we have to share the pool with other households?
A: Yes. It is for the Avalon
Subdivision.
Q: How many vehicles can we park?
A: (4) Four. There are no overflow parking spots. No RV's, boats, jet ski, etc. allowed.
There are no garages with this home.
Q: Are sleeper sofas comfortable for adults?
A: No. We recommend them for small children
only!
Q: How many TV's are there?
A: There is a 31" in the living room rooms, 27" in the
master bedroom, and 19" in bedrooms with queens.
Q: What do we have to do to hold for the week that we
want?
A: A 25% deposit is paid by credit card.
Q: Does Carter Beach Properties offer travel insurance?
A: No. Our
contract covers our refund policy for hurricanes and most individuals find
that sufficient. However, we do offer an
easy link to
several premier travel insurance companies if you feel that it is your best
interest to have travel insurance.
Q: When is balance of rent and Sales Tax due?
A: 30 days prior to check in.
Q: Where do we send a rent check, and how do we make it out?

Q: How old do you have to be to rent this property?
A:
25 years of age.
This property does not accept chaperoned youth
groups/young adults under 25 years of age. Families only, please!
