A:  2nd House from the beach. 

Q:  How do we get to the beach?

A:  You cross Scenic 98 to The Crab Trap.  It is located at James Lee State Park and public beach access to the beautiful sugar white sand and emerald green waters of The Gulf of Mexico.   This public beach access offers covered gazebos, public bathroom, outdoor showers, and parking.  The Crab Trap offers food, beverages, hats, sun tan lotions, and other souvenirs.

Q:   How many beach set ups come with this house.  Can we purchase additional and how?

A:   You will have one (1) complimentary beach set up close to the water during season by Beach Service that will dictate where you should set up on the beach.  Additional set ups can be purchased from Florida Beach Chairs by calling (850) 855-4335 or www.floridabeachchairs.com.

Q:  Does this house have a pool?

A:  Both a private pool and a community pool.

Q:  Is this pool heated?

A:  Pools will be heated for an additional fee of $200/week or $35/day during March through December or $300/week or $50/day during January and February.   No refund of pool heating fees will be refunded if the outdoor temperature and atmospheric conditions prevent the pools from reaching desired water temperatures.  Please keep in mind that pools are not hot tubs and are much more difficult to heat and may not maintain the level of heat that you desire.  Pool covers for maintaining heat are not provided. 

Q:  Do we have to share the pool with other households?

A:  Not the private pool, but the community pool is shared with the Destiny West Subdivision.

Q:  Are sleeper sofas comfortable for adults?

A:  No.  We recommend them for small children only!

Q:  Can adults sleep in bunk beds?

A:  We recommend them for children!  The ladders and bedding are not designed to support the bulk of adults and may result in an accident or injury. 

Q:  How many TV's ?

A:  5. 

Q:  How many vehicles can we park?

A:  (6) Six.  There are no overflow parking spots.  No RV's, boats, jet ski, etc. allowed.

Q:  What do we have to do to hold for the week that we want?

A:  A 25% deposit via credit card.

Q:  When is balance of rent and Sales Tax due?

A:  30 days prior to check in.

Q:  Where do we send a rent check, and how do we make it out?

A:  Carter Beach Properties, 1594 Scenic Gulf Drive, Miramar Beach, FL  32550.

Q:  How old do you have to be to rent this property?

A:  25 years of age.  If a group of youths wish to rent, one parent per every 3 youths must be on site at all times, and a 50% deposit will be required.  The parents will be held responsible for the actions of the group.
